As June approaches, we’re all hoping for some true summer-like beach weather! May has been quite unsettled - just when it seemed like fair weather had arrived, the rain would return, sometimes lasting for days. With the changing climate, I’ve learned to appreciate the rain differently, but honestly, I think we’ve had our fair share this year already!

June marks the start of the surfing season here, with waves becoming more consistent. We’re excited to announce that The SandBar has reopened for the season, celebrating its 10 year anniversary with an expanded menu and additional tables. Takeout is also available, and everyone is welcome - whether you’re relaxing on the beach or staying at one of our nearby resorts. The SandBar is the only full-service beachfront patio in Tofino, and there’s no better spot to enjoy a summer sunset - always different, always spectacular.

June is also the calm before the summer holiday rush. I’m expecting a great number of guests this year, especially with many Canadians planning to explore their own backyard. As always, we look forward to welcoming visitors from around the world to our resort.

A quick reminder - last summer we opened our beautiful new RainForest Spa, which has been warmly embraced by our guests. It’s the perfect addition to our resort, offering massages, RMT, body and facial treatments, and a peaceful retreat for singles, couples, and groups alike. And now, we’re excited to add Beach Yoga every Sunday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 AM - a relaxing way to start the day with the sound of the waves and the fresh ocean air.

New for this season, we have a fleet of fantastic e-bikes available for rent in all sizes. With over 40 kilometers of paved trails right from our property, you can easily ride into Tofino or, for the more adventurous, explore the National Park’s stunning beaches - even ride all the way to Ucluelet! Both towns have so much to offer!

We had such a wonderful time in Tofino. The Long Beach Lodge is an amazing place to stay. Love everything about LBL. "A Perfect Spot"

You cannot beat the location and the beauty of the setting of Long Beach Lodge Resort, but when you combine this stunning location with beautiful accommodations and especially with the outstanding staff team, it is truly outstanding. We (and several guests) stayed there for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding, and the staff were all so warm, friendly, professional, and each seemed to deeply understand the importance of the occasion and want to make the entire stay special. I cannot recommend this resort highly enough. "Best weekend ever!"

The lodge was beautiful with an ocean view. First class dining was amazing. I booked this as a birthday gift for my son and daughter in law. They said it was everything they needed.
