If you have not stayed at Long Beach Lodge, you need to get your reservation soon. It is on a stunning piece of property on Cox Bay, Vancouver island. It has everything we could ever ask for- a cosy comfortable and beautifully equipped facility, with a fantastic dining room, excellent service in every way, and staff members who never cease to inspire us with their efficient work and fascinating life experiences and personalities. As you enter the Lodge property, you are greeted by the ever ebullient Sylvia, who ensures that you are a guest, and in the right place. The front desk staff, and restaurant staff are affable, informed, and skilled at their jobs. The housekeeping staff, like delightful Wivine from Kenya, are unobtrusively generous and eager to help in any way they can. And if you are a surfer, or want to be, everything you need is present - boards, suits, instruction, a surf bar and shop, and most importantly, relentless surf. My challenge is- go now and see if you are ready to return before you leave. We always have had that experience. It is a gem! "The best hotel ever"

This place was just a perfect place to stay. We were surprised about the details - the room was clean and functioned the way it was supposed to. Our room had the beach as its view and we couldn’t be happier. I think the website doesn’t do it justice.
