This year, the Beauty & the Beach weekend is Nov. 4 to 6, 2016, on the sandy beaches of Tofino at Long Beach Lodge Resort. This retreat integrates beach boot camp sessions, toning yoga and pilates, with nutritious food at the award-winning Long Beach Lodge Great Room. Canadian fitness guru Michele Shorter, leads these fitness and wellness sessions as well as goal setting and nourishment planning meetings. Surf and paddle board lessons, refreshing hikes through nearby Ucluelet’s Wild Pacific Trail and massages will be optional add-ons to the weekend.
This rejuvenating weekend is designed around “The Shorter Approach,” the philosophy of which is to nourish the body and the mind into a state of health, fitness and confidence.
