Whip your business into shape with Long Beach Lodge Resort in Tofino, BC...

Announcing 2015 Corporate Wellness Retreats

Dec. 1, 2014, Tofino, BC – The time-honoured tradition of New Year’s resolutions to get in shape, drop a few pounds and reenergize for the coming months is fast approaching, and Long Beach Lodge Resort is setting the stage for business owners to extend the tradition right into their operations and consider whipping their business, along with their waistlines, into shape throughout January and February 2015.

Long Beach Lodge Resort in Tofino, BC has created an all-inclusive package for business owners looking to get away from the rise and grind work week mindset, gather with their team, and get down to the business of planning how to tackle their major strategic goals for the New Year.

The Corporate Wellness Retreat includes minimum two nights accommodation in the Lodge’s Rainforest Cottages, daily meals in the Great Room overlooking Cox Bay Beach, use of the Lodge’s private function room for meetings or fitness classes, and access to the hot tub, sauna and fitness centre. Pricing starts at $416 Cdn per person, based on four guests per cottage. Three, four and seven night pricing is also available.

Additional add-on activities for the Corporate Wellness Retreat include a welcome cocktail and canapé reception; group surf lesson; marine boat adventure; cooking class with Executive Chef Ian Riddick; naturalist-led nature walk; yoga session; and wine service with dinner. Add-on activity rates are based on group size.

Located along sandy Cox Bay Beach, Long Beach Lodge Resort boasts excellent vantage points for those wishing to take in winter storm season from the comfort of the Lodge’s Great Room. The storm season in Tofino is most active during the first two months of the year, making this an excellent time to witness the substantial swells arriving on shore and the power of nature. On the non-stormy days, for those looking to embrace the winter weather in true Tofino fashion, the on-site Surf Club Adventure Centre offers surf lessons for guests. Each lesson includes access to heated change rooms and showers, making the slide in and out of wetsuits much more comfortable than the damp parking lots next to nearby beaches, commonly used by die-hard locals. The hot tub is just steps away for a good soak after surfing and playing in those winter waves.
