The Great Room

The Surf Club

With a cozy atmosphere and a fully stocked bar, the Surf Club is perfect for unwinding or preparing for a day on Cox Bay’s waves. Change rooms, surf gear rentals and private lessons are available for guests of all levels.
The SandBar Bistro
Open May, 12 p.m.–8 p.m. Wed to Sun, June– October, 12 p.m.–8 p.m. daily; Happy Hour 3 p.m.–5 p.m.

Located in the Riptide building, accessible with your room key, our fitness and laundry facilities are open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Unwind in our hot pool and cedar sauna, both found within The Surf Club. Towels and spacious changing rooms are provided for your comfort. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Rainforest Spa
Open: 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. daily
Treat yourself to a rejuvenating experience at our Rainforest Spa, nestled within a serene old-growth forest just steps from the beach. Explore our spa menu and let our team help you select the perfect treatment for ultimate relaxation.
Housekeeping Service
Our housekeeping team is here to ensure your room stays fresh and comfortable between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. If you prefer privacy, simply let Guest Services know, or hang the Do Not Disturb sign on your door. In line with our eco-friendly practices, tap water is safe to drink, and we encourage its use in place of bottled water.
Pet-Friendly Stays
We’re thrilled to welcome your four-legged family members! Pet-friendly rooms and Rainforest Cottages are available. Visit our front desk for a special house-made dog treat, and if pet-sitting services are needed, just let us know. Pet fees are $65 for up to two pets, or $100 for three or more.
Please note: Pets are not permitted in non-designated pet guest rooms, the Great Room, the Rainforest Spa, or the Gym, with the exception of service dogs. In accordance with local bylaws, we kindly ask that all dogs remain on a leash at all times. Any damages caused to furnishings or carpets will result in a damage fee, starting at $60 and based on repair costs.
Tsunami Preparedness
Long Beach Lodge Resort is located on the west coast of Vancouver Island, where tsunami preparedness is part of everyday community safety planning. While tsunami events are rare, we encourage all guests to familiarize themselves with local emergency procedures during their stay.
For updates and emergency notifications during your stay, we ask all guests to sign up for the Voyent Alert! system used by the District of Tofino as this is the primary way to receive emergency alerts and important updates while in the area. Additional information about tsunami preparedness, evacuation routes, and emergency resources can be found on the District of Tofino’s website. If you have any questions during your stay, our Front Desk team is always happy to assist.
