Safe Travel Welcome
We are reopening the Resort on June 3rd, in a limited capacity and with strict safety protocols in place. Thank you for your support, patience, and flexibility as we adapt to an ever-evolving situation.
We've been keeping a close eye on Municipal and Provincial developments and are excited that resorts have been included in Phase 3 of the BC Restart Plan. As we prepare to reopen our doors, the health of our staff, guests, and community remains a top priority. We're taking steps to minimize transmission risks associated with COVID-19 by activating our multi-phase recovery plan. We will be reopening in a way that adheres to the government recommendations and WorkSafe BC protocols. We want to ensure that your Long Beach Lodge experience is a safe and memorable one!
Before you book...
1. Check the local COVID-19 updates
The District of Tofino is working hard to keep the community updated as the COVID-19 situation develops. We are watching closely and adhering to Municipal and Provincial recommendations to ensure the health and safety of our staff, guests and community. Current information and FAQs can be found on the District of Tofino website: http://tofino.ca/blog/view/covid-19-updates
2. We ask that you self-assess prior to your much-anticipated trip to Tofino.
We're counting on you to protect the vulnerable in our community and to ensure we're not putting added pressures on our limited local health care staff and resources.

Let's ensure Tofino remains a safe place to visit by following the rules...
Many Tofino businesses have adapted their services in light of COVID-19. To support local, find operating hours and shopping procedures online: https://www.tofinochamber.org/covid19-measures-in-tofino
Maintain physical distancing measures (6ft or 2m apart) at all times while on property, on the beaches, or in public spaces. Give ample room to others utilizing the multi-use path (MUP), on sidewalks, or in waiting lines.
Wash your hands regularly and be mindful of surfaces you are touching.
Cards/tap is the preferred method of payment by most businesses. For your convenience, all Lodge amenities may be charged to your room.
Avoid the Tofino General Hospital unless it’s an extreme emergency.
Let us know immediately if you develop any COVID-19 symptoms - if you are in distress, call 811 & Guest Services for medical support.
Be mindful of how your behaviour or actions are perceived by others who may not know you're travelling in a family group. This is a difficult time for many and we ask that you avoid causing distress in others!
Thank you for helping to maintain a #flatcurvecoast !
