Helping Kids Coast Through School

The ABC's of education on the Pacific Rim include adventure, beaches, and coastal ecosystems.

In partnership with the local public schools, the Raincoast Education Society (RES) is increasing outdoor learning opportunities for the young students in our region. The Raincoast Field School offers up a unique opportunity for students to learn "hands-on" with a progressive curriculum structured around experiences that range from plant and animal observations to meteorology.

Long Beach Lodge has proudly supported the RES for nearly 15 years. We've seen them grow and evolve over the years and we're excited for them as they expand their popular education program to Ucluelet. We are honoured to play a role in helping them realize this next chapter and wish them great success!
