The official countdown to Christmas at the end of the road begins with a town-wide event known as ‘Jingle Into Christmas’ on Friday, December 1st. This annual evening consists of extended hours for late night sales, gallery gazing and cheer. The district of Tofino offers a free shuttle from 5pm – 10pm to help get you and your gifts home safe. Tofino is known for it's makers. Don't miss some of our favourite local shops featuring the work of local artisans like The Factory, Merge, Caravan, Eagle Aerie Gallery, & Salt.
Venture a little farther down the road to catch Ucluelet's Midnight Madness on November 24th. Shops are open late and the sales are worth the drive.

The Tofino Public Market that runs from May long weekend until Thanksgiving is wrapping up it’s season with the Winter Artisan Market on Saturday, December 2^nd from 11am – 3pm. Don’t miss this annual event that curates an array of wares, crafts, creations & edibles.

There is much to explore around town but you don't have to stray far from your room to cross a few things off your list with Long Beach Lodge's own gift shop located on property in the Surf Club and Adventure Centre. You will love the selection of books, souvenirs, clothing, and jewellery.

"Another Great Stay!"

We've been taking winter breaks in Tofino/Ucluelet for almost 20 years and enjoy the lack of crowds and ability to beach walk & experience some awesome winter storms. Long Beach Lodge makes a great base as we take our 2 labs and book one of the a dog friendly rooms on the ground floor that have walk out to the beach and a great view. This year was no exception with no rain while we were there and 2 days of storm force winds that made for great breaking surf. The room was great as always, staff all excellent and we ate 2 nights in the restaurant enjoying great meals and good beer both nights. An added plus was a new bank of 8 Level2 EV chargers (CCS) by the entrance with complimentary charging for guests, so keeping the car charged for drives to hiking locations and in prep for out return home was totally painless. "Cozy, Comfortable and Charming"

We had the most wonderful stay at Long Beach Lodge. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made you feel right at home. The cottages were roomy, quiet, and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and all the amenities provided. We will certainly be back! "A little slice of heaven"

Was absolutely blown away by this property in every way. Cottages were well appointed and a few minute walk to the beach. Loved having private hot tubs. Restaurant was incredible. Had a fantastic dinner and breakfast there each morning. Wonderful service, generous portions. Great kids menu with crayons provided. Ordered the seafood boil to our cottage with another family. One of the most epic meals of all time. Beach is next level. Gorgeous. This is the perfect destination for families. Thank you for an incredible stay!
