This past May, it was also a real pleasure to welcome bestselling author Carley Fortune to Long Beach Lodge Resort, where she hosted a Meet & Greet at the Surf Club as part of her tour for her latest novel, Our Perfect Storm. It’s always special to see Tofino brought to life through storytelling, and even more so when it inspires readers from around the world to discover this incredible part of the coast. Signed copies of the book are now available in our gift shop for anyone looking to experience the story for themselves. We were also delighted to see our Rainforest Cottages featured in a travel guide by Outside Online, which recommended Long Beach Lodge Resort as the place to stay for readers inspired by the novel, noting the similarities between our cottages and the fictional “Moss & Stone Resort”.
