The Great Room

The SandBar Bistro

Tofino’s ultimate beachside patio, the SandBar offers seasonal casual dining and to-go options, plus a fully licensed bar—perfect for ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Plus, the patio is dog friendly!

A Great Room favourite, this delicious platter features whole Dungeness crab, seared Canadian scallops and chilled prawn cocktail. Served with Old Bay butter, basil and preserved lemon risotto, roasted broccolini and beet and feta salad. All for $159, must be pre-ordered 24 hours in advance by phone or through OpenTable.

Meet the Chef

Chef Shaun’s culinary journey is driven by a passion for creativity. With a foundation in classical training and experience at top restaurants around Vancouver, Shaun has worked with some of Canada’s top chefs, most recently staging with Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality in Toronto and serving as Executive Chef at The West Coast Fishing Club. Now leading the kitchen at Long Beach Lodge Resort, he thrives on crafting vibrant, inspired dishes that bring people together. Shaun’s hands-on leadership and focus on memorable dining experiences ensure every meal is a celebration of the coast’s unique flavours.

Room service is also available by phone from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for our brunch menu and 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for dinner/late night menu.  Please note, 17% gratuity is added to room service orders.
