With 2026 just around the corner and the Christmas holidays underway, the Lodge is sparkling with lights, decorated beautifully, and filled with the scent of cedar boughs. It’s the perfect moment to reflect on the year behind us and look forward to what’s ahead.
Sustainability continues to guide much of our work at the Lodge. We’re always looking for thoughtful ways to operate responsibly and reduce our environmental impact. With that in mind, we’re proud to share that we’ve joined the BC Green Business program, with certifications currently underway for both the Rainforest Spa and the Great Room Restaurant.
While most of our guests still join us from across Canada, we were thrilled to welcome visitors from more than 30 countries this year, from Austria and Australia to Singapore and Slovakia.
A major milestone for us in 2025 was launching our new website. We hope it has made the online experience smoother and more enjoyable. We’re also improving the booking experience with a new, more user-friendly booking engine. We hope you like it!
Looking ahead to 2026, we plan to further expand our well system to help reduce our reliance on the District of Tofino’s limited water resources. It’s especially exciting to have drilled and discovered water on the property.
As Tim mentioned, our winter renovations are underway. Cottages will be refreshed to feel like new, and Lodge rooms will also receive thoughtful updates. It’s a big project, but we’re committed to offering only the best for our valued guests.
