21st annual Clayoquot Oyster Festival

Keeping Tofino’s population growing since 1997, the Clayoquot Oyster Festival celebrates Tofino’s favourite bivalve.  It is held annually on the 3rd week of November, coinciding with the beginning of the area’s oyster harvest as this is when oysters are at their plumpest.

In its 9th year, the Tofino Saltwater Classic fishing derby was created by the National Hockey League's Brendan Morrison as a fundraiser for Tofino community initiatives. Over $250,000 CAD has been raised thus far!
