Long Beach Lodge Resort Refreshed
Each year, Long Beach Lodge Resort closes for a short period of time for deep-cleaning and renovations.
During the 2014 closure, the lodge, cottages and everywhere in between was, depending on conditions and planning, cleaned, repaired, refreshed, refurbished and renovated.Closure 2014 ran from December 7-18 and we are excited to unveil the results later this week.
Cleaners, construction works, designers and labourers descended on Long Beach Lodge Resort and took it apart and put it back together in 10 working days.
Among the projects tackled:
- Everything was carefully inspected, cleaned and refreshed – all common areas, walls, kitchen, bar, etc.
- All carpets and furniture were cleaned.
- Painting, painting and more painting.
- The Great Room’s wood floor was refinished.
- All Great Room’s carpets were cleaned (we get 20 lbs of sand out of the carpets each year!)
- Two new wine racks were installed in the Great Room.
- The wood wall behind the Great Room bar was replaced.
- The front office was expanded.
- Lots and lots of other fixes and repairs.
