Tofino's Surf Month is Back!

September and October are known for local surf contests, fall festivals, beautiful weather, clean waves, and calm days. As the summer craze settles, we start to look forward to settling into winter on the Pacific Rim.

October is locally referred to as 'Surf Month' and kicking it off is one of our favourite events of the year, Queen of the Peak, Women’s Surf Championships. This annual community event is conveniently hosted right in front of the lodge over the span of 3 days. Take a stroll to the beach for a chance to catch some of the most talented surfers from around the globe, competing for money, prizes & glory.

In addition to the lively surf festivities, there are other amazing events you can participate in such as Zumba, yoga, and dance parties. Find more info on their website www.queenofthepeak.com.
