The Resort

Long Beach Lodge Resort opened in the Spring of 2002 and has already become a favourite West Coast retreat. Our luxurious resort, with 41 Lodge rooms and 20 Cottages, is located on 8 acres of oceanfront property on the beautiful beach of Cox Bay, just 7km south of Tofino. Resort facilities include a full service dining room and lounge in The Great Room, the Riptide Centre which houses a fitness facility and laundry centre, and an outdoor covered BBQ facility.

... everyone went out of their way to make our experience here very memorable. I would like to extend my gratitude to you for putting together such a wonderful team. It just seemed generosity, kindness and quality are woven into the fabric of what you do. Please express our sincere graditude to Eric who is a world class pastry chef, and a fine person.

The Lodge was designed and built to resemble a grand West Coast style home. Cedar board and batten, and a shingle exterior, a metal roof and stone chimney are all traditional elements of West Coast design. The interior was built to create a feeling that you have just arrived at a friend's home.

You will begin to relax as soon as you enter the Great Room with its massive granite fireplace and Douglas Fir post and beam construction. It is a gathering place where guests can sink into an overstuffed chair, put their feet up, and gaze out at the sandy beach with the crashing surf and lighthouse beyond.

We are all committed to excellence. Our mission is to meet and exceed the expectations of our valued guests, through warm and personal service offered by our experienced staff, in our beautiful and peaceful surroundings.

Sitting in the Great Room listening to some great music and watching the sunset was one of my top ten magical moments. Long Beach has lived up to all my expectations.
