Elaine started at LBL in August 2007 and has been enjoying life on the west-coast ever since! When asked what she likes most about her job, Elaine says that meeting people from all over the world is what she truly enjoys – “the view is pretty awesome too” she adds.Elaine likes to be creative, whether she is out taking photos with her camera, baking, writing, painting, knitting, or crocheting something warm to wear. She is a bit of a celebrity/pop culture geek –if you want to catch up on the newest gossip, just ask her. Elaine is also an avid hockey fan, always getting out her Canucks jersey for the game. Elaine likes to unwind by plugging in her ipod and finding a spot to relax on the beach. She can often be found exploring the local beaches with her camera in tow, and has been known to take some awesome sunset shots. Elaine is the first one to be thoughtful, always brightening someone’s day – if it’s your birthday and she knows about it – there will be a surprise waiting for you!
Elaine’s dream job is to be a baker one day; her signature cookie will be called the “E-Bomb!” Elaine is always baking up a storm and bringing in her cookies, cupcakes, and muffins to share, adding a little extra sweetness to our day here at LBL. Elaine plans to go to school to attain her Red Seal in the Baker Designation within the next 5 years. She will then start her business plan for her own bake shop/deli and continue doing what she loves to do!
Elaine's perfect day on the West Coast...
Sleeping in, followed by a Chicken Gringa and Lime Mint Freshie at Tacofino for lunch, walk along Chesterman Beach, bake, and then finish the day with some drinks in the Great Room.Her List…
