Situated on Cox Bay Beach, Long Beach Lodge is located between the start and finish line of this scenic race that stretches between Tofino, through Pacific Rim National Park and finishes in the traditional fishing village of Ucluelet. The 42.2 kilometer-route winds through old growth forests, alongside the ocean, and even has 1.5 km taking place on hard-packed sand on Chesterman’s Beach. Shuttle buses between Ucluelet and Tofino will operate before and after the race.
The Edge to Edge Marathon is organized by the Ucluelet Chamber of Commerce and Mind over Mountain Event Co, with the help of community volunteers and organizations including the RCMP, District of Ucluelet, Pacific Rim National Park Reserve of Canada, District of Tofino and the Tofino-Long Beach Chamber of Commerce.
