Our wedding deposit holds a specific date and 50% of the deposit is non-refundable unless we book another wedding for that date (we only book one wedding per day). The wedding fee is included in our package prices. The fee covers: the resources of the Events Team in helping plan and coordinate your event; the venue for your ceremony; the function room or restaurant for dinner; the set up and take down of your function; the use of tables, chairs, white linens and the use of the dance floor if required (maximum 40 people); staffing of your event. It also includes the Room Block, BC Marriage Commissioner fees and booking, basic West Coast décor, menu planning and wine pairing. Wedding fees are subject to TAX
AccommodationsOur Lodge provides a selection of accommodations for all your needs, including self contained cottages for families. The accommodations for your group will be contracted and we do require half of your guests to stay with us for a minimum of two nights; a discounted rate for your guests is included in the package. Once we create a contract, we will give you a group code for your guests to use when booking. Please advise them to use the code to book on line or call directly. Our toll free reservations line is open from 7:30 am to 11:00 pm daily at 1.877.844.7873.
Minimum RequirementsFood and Beverage minimums apply and are based on number of guests. Minimums exclude applicable taxes of 5% GST, 7% PST & 20% service charge (taxes may change in accordance with Government regulations). There is also a minimum requirement of rooms that must be booked by your wedding party. Please consult our Event and Group Sales Manager for specific minimum requirements at email@example.com.

CeremonyOnly one wedding is booked per day. Exchange your vows in the breeze on spectacular Cox Bay beach, or on our beachfront patio. Your ceremony can also take place in the Great Room, which is a warm and inviting space that features a large wood burning fireplace and views of the rolling waves. Please note that the ceremonies we host are standing ceremonies, chairs are not provided (local rentals are available for outdoor weddings, arrangements are the responsibility of the convener). Ceremonies in the Great Room are not private, as the space is always open to guests of the Lodge. We will provide a registry signing table and chair, and witnesses if needed. Our maximum capacity for indoor ceremonies is 50 people. Your number of guests for the ceremony must not exceed the number attending the reception.
ReceptionOur cuisine features simple, natural and unpretentious fare to suit any taste. Our Chef will go out of his way to ensure his creations are memorable and delicious. We can provide a champagne reception with canapés following the ceremony for you and your guests if desired.
Your indoor dinner reception for over 16 people will take place in our private function room. Amenities available feature a surround sound system, dance floor (maximum 40 people), LCD projector and screen for slide shows, and West Coast table décor. We offer plated dinner service, menus start at $55 per person. Dinners for groups over 16 start at 5:30 pm in our private space.
Should your reception involve music and dancing in the function room, we ask that the music is turned down by 11:00 pm and off by 12:00 am for the comfort of our other guests, and that the room is vacated by 12:00 am. If we receive guest complaints due to excessive noise from the wedding party, the convener will be responsible for the room charge of the particular guest.
Specific rooms in the Lodge must be booked with the Eat. Drink. And Be Married Package.

Menu and Wine SelectionAll food and beverage must be supplied by Long Beach Lodge Resort and meet a minimum catering requirement based on the number of guests attending your wedding. Our kitchen works with the freshest local seafood, meats and produce to create a menu suited to your tastes. Our local and seasonal culinary creations will add a memorable touch to your perfect day. If you have a specific ingredient or menu option that you would like us to work with we will do our best to do so. In addition, we take into consideration allergies and dietary restrictions of your guests.
We have an array of BC and international wines that paired with the meals of choice will satisfy the finest gourmet. We are happy to assist you in choosing the appropriate wine selections for your menu. Wine starts at $35 per bottle. Please note that we do not offer corkage.
CakesWith your direction, our in-house Pastry Chef can create an elegant wedding cake. Cakes start at $40 for two people, and are an additional $7 per person for a larger cake. Should you prefer to provide your own cake there will be a cutting and plating fee of $3 per person.
Signage and DecorationsAll signage and decorations must be pre-approved by the management of Long Beach Lodge Resort.
Event GuaranteesLong Beach Lodge Resort will require a guaranteed number of guests two weeks prior to the event. We also require your guests’ menu choices confirmed two weeks prior.
PaymentThe wedding deposit will be required at the time of contract signing to reserve your wedding date. 50% of the deposit is non-refundable unless we are able to book another wedding for that date. For bookings requiring a room block, a room block deposit is included in the wedding fee. Rooms in the block that are not picked up by your guests will be released into general inventory 30-60 days prior to your event, depending on season. A down payment of the first night and tax for all rooms booked by your guests will be due upon room reservation.
We require 50% of estimated food and beverage costs 30 days prior to your event. The final invoice will be due at the end of the function and will include 20% service charge on the net amount of the food and beverage invoice.
CancellationAll cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellations on your guests’ accommodations received 7 days prior to the scheduled date will receive a refund on the deposit less a $20 cancellation fee per room booked. If accommodations are cancelled in one week of the scheduled arrival the deposits will be forfeited.
50% of wedding fees are non-refundable unless we are able to book another wedding on the same date. Cancellations for Master Accounts are included in your contract.
